End User: A Fire Safety Department
The search and rescue training system is especially designed for professional firefighters, and shall be capable to simulate the search and rescue operation process within a given residential fire scenario based on VR technology. A multi-person real-time networked collaborative training mode shall be realized based on 5G technology. DEMO shall be made based on Technical Indicators Requirements and materials.
Technical Indicators Requirements:
Training system shall at least meet the following requirements：
1. Fire scenario
(1) Residential building
•modern multi-storey residential building
•2 apartments on each floor (floor plans are provided)
•modern decoration and furnishing
(2) Fire scenario
•Fire breakout at 0200 hrs in the kitchen and rapidly filled the rest of the apartment with heat and smoke.
•3 victims were trapped in the master bedroom, including 2 adults and a child, consciously crying for help.
•Training started at 0215 hrs and initial position was just inside the front door.
2. Environment simulation
•Fire behavior including smoke volume, density, velocity, fluid effect and flame optical effects, etc.
•Environmental noises including people running down the stair, yelling for help, alarm sound, etc.
•Sight shadowing effect and breathing echo effect inside SCBA mask
•Diversity of smoke shadowing effect concerning height of sight
3. Scenario interaction
•The door of the room shall functionally be fully closed, open slit, half open, fully open, etc.
•Glass windows of each room shall be able to conduct break or open operation.
•Diversity of flow patterns and ventilation outcomes of smoke leaking out of openings shall synchronously be simulated corresponding to size and open-state of doors and windows, etc.
4. Cooperation via network
•Training system shall be capable of supporting up to 3 terminals and unique identification shall be assigned to each terminal.
•The supervisor shall be able to monitor each terminal through large screens and observe the entire scenario in the observer mode.
•The network replication mode shall be state synchronization.
5. Training process replay
•The supervisor shall be able to interrupt the training process or resume training under any circumstances.
•The replay of training process can be played in the observer mode and the first person mode.
